I had a wacky thyroid before surg. It went up and down. ???nOW IT IS VERY OVERACTIVE. The hot flashes are unreal! I just want to rip all my clothes off. I think they are worse than when I went through my change? HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM OR IS IT BECAUSE OF MY PREVIOUSE TROUBLE? I GUESS I AM WONDERING IF MY SURG INHANCED THINGS?

I know that after surgery as your body is losing weight so fast your homones levels and things get really out of whack. They told me it will calm down soon. HA! Good luck and hope you can get it under control. ~Tiffany

I had no thyroid trouble before surgery - (that I was aware of :0) And sometimes I find myself with terrible hotflashes and "spells" like you mentioned since I've been losing weight. I think your body is just normalizing and if you give it some more time it will get better. Definitely if it doesn't get better you should mention it to your doc. Good luck !! Sheri Byrne

I had a lot of thyroid trouble before surg. So I guess I am not real suprized. The Doc found a lum*****dual on my thyroid. I have a sister who had her thyroid out due to cancer. I guess I am trying to find another reason cuz the chance of cancer is real. Thanks sooooo much for the help!! God bless!
