Wow, it is so quiet on the board, thought I would ask a few questions to see how everyone was. How are you eating? What is you fave food now? Fave drink? Do you get in all your liquids? What exercises are you doing? If you wanna tell, how much have ya lost? (pounds, inches, whatever). After 4 EGDs and alot of medicine, doing ok My fave food right now is cottage cheese my fave drink water w/ a little squirt of lemon, trying to get them all in I have been walking, at least a mile a day (ususally more) some stretching for my muscles I have lost a total of 66 pounds so far, I have no clue how many inches ~Tiffany

Tiffany, Well let me see... Favorite food is chicken and favorite drink is crystal light peach tea. So far I walk on my treadmill and ride my stationary bike whenever possible. I have developed an ulcer, so sometimes it's too painful to exercise. I have been getting in all my liquids and protein. I have lost a total of 44 pounds, but have gone from a size 24 to a size 14. I am no longer selfconcious about eating in front of people and have more self confidence in everything I do. You sound like you are doing wonderful. Keep it up!!!! Dawn

Hi Tiffany, Yes, this board is very quiet. Here's my stats: I am eating very well now favorite food right now I would say is cheese and cashews Drink is Crystal Light I usually get all my liquids in I walk on the treadmill whenever possible I have lost 47 pounds so far and I will measure myself on the 10th to see the complete inches but as of 1/10/04 it was 17 inches. I try to get all my protein in every day, sometimes I have to have a protein drink or I will eat a protein bar. I have only threw up three times, not a pleasant experience. I have to up my exercise also, but so far I am doing fine and am very happy with the results. Keep up the good work. Darlene WLS 11/10/03

Hello Tiffany, Stats: Eating: It is going ok, although I am still never hungry and still feel like I have to throw up in the morning, and sometimes throughout the day when I don't eat. Medicines: Those are going to be the death of me, I just can't seem to take them, and I know that I am going to regret this in the long run! Fav. foods: shrimp, salad, and applesauce Drink: Diet pepsi slurpee from 7-11 Liquids: I generally get them all in bu****er always first Exercise: I walk for 2.5 miles in 30 min. and do a tummie toner weight machine everyday at the gym. Weight loss: 62 pounds, no clue on inches, but I can almost fit into a size 16 regualr Tommy jeans (Lord knows those run small enough). Shariyun WLS 11/20/03 289/225/155

I had surgery on 11/4 -- then my second surgery on 11/12 for a leak! I haven't been weighed since last month, so I go to the dr. tomorrow & I'll have the tally. Last month it was 40 lbs. and I think, based on my clothing that I've lost at least 10 more ... If I lose 13 or more lbs., I'll be under 200!!!!! (Insert prayer here) I haven't been good about working out -- mostly because I've had a really deep open wound on my abdomen since the 2nd surgery which still hasn't finished healing, so I have to watch my exercise ... of course, a good excuse for me to be lazy! I have developed an intense love affair with ham post-surgery. I can have small bits of pizza, I love salmon, swordfish -- most fishes. I miss pasta -- it's really touch & go with me, even if I have a very small amount it has caused me to throw up, but other times I can have a spoonfull & it's okay. I'm working on getting all my liquids in, but I'm not always successful. I guess I'd say I'm a work in progress!

Hi; doing well with eating. Can't tolerate red meat though. Turkey; and shrimp are my fav foods Fav drink.. must be water; but I will say my fuzzy naval protein drink is pretty tasty early in the morning. nope don't get all my liquids in; I don't feel thirsty so I don't drink. I know bad bad me. doing about 30 minutes on the tread mill; or stationary bike; then a few exercises with free weights. I tried doing sit ups but there was to much pain in my left side. I've lost 88 lbs to date. surgery was Nov. 3
