3 months out today
Well gang, I am three months out today and I am down 72 unbelievable pounds! My neighbor came over and brought me some size LARGE jeans. I laughed and said ''OK I'm doing good, but not THAT GOOD!!''
Wow, makes me feel great to think that she thinks I'm a large woo hoo! I am definitly in a much smaller size clothes (28 jeans at Lane Bryant to 20 at old navy) but it is hard for me to notice a difference on my body. Even though the rest of the world notices, and tells me. I am just starting to believe that this is REAL!! It is so wonderful!
Thank GOD for WLS!!!!
Take care all, Kristen

Kristen, congrats! I also had my surgery on Nov 3. As of today I have lost 55 lbs. which I am very happy with. I got into a size 18 jeans with no problem today (was a 26). Life is good. Keep up the great job.
Congratulations!!
I'm 3 months out today (2/4) and I don't know what I weigh. Last month I weighed in at -40 lbs., I'm hoping this month I'll lose at least 13 lbs. -- that would put me at 199 lbs.!!
My pre-surgery pants (size 22) can now be removed by pulling them off without unbuttoning & unzipping them. I call them my party favor pants I'm fitting into 18 pants that I still had from previous weight loss attempts, and my tops are all falling off. When I go shopping I can't make myself try on pants because in my head they all look too small to fit. The mind really doesn't have time to catch up to the body. I've tried on a few blazers. The 14s fit but are a little snug, but the 16s are a little too big (plus sized 14s and 16s, that is).
Good luck on your continued journey. Happy Anniversary to Us!!
Way to go Kristen! You are kicking butt!! I am so very happy for you.
My 3 month was on Tuesday (2/4) and I was down 55 lbs. I hit this kinda small platue back in December, then dropped 20, and now, it's just creeping again. I am hoping that it will start to drop again very SOON. I know I am still losing inches. I have been bad lately on my water, and protien, and exercise (I am failing myself here). I am still trying to adjust to our move here to San Diego, plus look for a job, plus get used to my husbands ship being in and out and dealing with our separtations. It's all just a bit overwhelming.
Anyway to the other ladies who posted here, thank you. I am glad to see that there are others right in the same range as me, and it gives me encouragment. Kristen, you are an encouragement too! You have done so well! Keep up the great work! Please keep us updated!

Congrats on your weight loss! I know how you feel about not noticing the loss. I had to buy clothes for the first time and went from a very very tight 32 to a 26. I probably could had done a 24 but I was way too chicken.
I weigh in a lot, but I do not get upset when I don't lose (only when it goes up - digital scales are sooo touchy). I am now down 66 lbs. I cannot belive it!
You are doing so well. Keep up the good work.
