New to Board

Hello everyone. This is the first time I've posted to this board. I'm 32, married, and in the Leavenworth Kansas area. I had an open gastric bypass on 11/10/03 - so tomorrow is my 9 week anniversay date and I have lost 51lbs so far !!! I'm not sure how this compares w/others around the same date but I'm pretty pleased! I look forward to getting to knowing everyone. Angie

Hi Angie, i have only found this board a couple of weeks ago so i am new too!! i had my roux-en-y- laproscopic gastric bypass surgery on 11/14/03 and have lost 72 lbs. so far. so you are doing excellent as well!!! i am glad i kept all my clothes i grew out of over the years. they are sure coming in handy now. you should be pleased with yourself you have come along way!! keep up the great work and it was great meeting you look forward to talking to you again soon email me anytime Stacy
