gas?? or something else?? Help!!

Hi, i have had a problem that has crept up on me just in the past couple of days. yesterday and today about 2:00 pm or so i get a feeling like a i am filled up with gas. i take pepcid and phazyme for gas and acid and i still just hurts in my stomach. it moves sometimes over to the left side so that's why i think it is gas but i don't know. i don't have my gallbladder had that removed about 5 years ago. any thoughts???? it is now 3 hours later and i still have that pain in my stomach. makes me not eat a full 4 ozs. because i don't feel good. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks so much Stacy

yes, thanks i am calling him today as soon as he opens up. i have been in increasing pain all weekend including a bad bout about 2:30 am this morning. i will let you know what he says. thanks so much for responding. Stacy

Hi, Just to let you know i called my doctor today and he prescribed nexium for 2 weeks to see if that helps and i am having a cat scan done tomorrow afternoon. and i have to see him on wednesday. maybe it's just really bad heartburn, i used to have gerd before the surgery but it feels different this time. but my stomach is different now so that could be the difference. hopefully everything will be fine with the nexium though thanks so much stacy

Hi, i went to my doctor and i had a cat scan and everything is fine. he thinks it just may be the other part of my stomach making a little acid and gas and that it should stop after a little bit so i am on protonix for now and that helps alot. thanks for the advice stacy
