Exercise!
Good morning, Amy! I did so well with walking the 1st month, but started to slack after week 4. What I did was buy a padometer (measures how far you walk) and also bought a non-skip CD player. It makes walking MUCH easier, and its fun to measure how far you walked. I usually walk 1/2 5-6 times a week. I am 8 weeks post op tomorrow and have lost 43 lbs!! Keep up the good work Amy!
Hi. Congratulations on your weight loss.
I have PCOS, a syndrome which causes weight gain. So, I am fighting it with the tool. Every morning I pop in a Richard Simmons tape, and do the ones that I can do. If I cannot do a routine, I keep moving with 2 pound hand weights and elastic cords. I look at the variety of sizes of those on the tape, and it gives me hope. I know that it is for a better, healthier future. At last I CAN have some control over my weight. It is a great power rush. RNY 11/12/03 -41 lbs.
