starting low=losing slow?

i KNOW this has been beaten to death, but i THINK i am doing well. i guess i just need some encouragement i am 5'6". i had my surgery 11-4-03 . i started at 262.9 and am now approx 221.5 is this a decent loss in the amount of time since surgery?

Heather, the weight you have lost is gone and don't look back. You are doing good and will do good in the time to come. Remember to take your measurments too. Because if you are being active and eating right you are probably losing inches, which is the best thing to do. If you feel good and are being more active than you were before keep it up. Be Healthy and Live a Long Life.... Don't worry it will be okay

I sure hope so because I had my surgery on Nov. 20th & I was 262 as well & I'm now between 221 & 222. I am losing my mind because I had gotten down to 220 & gained 2 pounds back. It seems that I've stopped losing. I don't know what to do. Should I start back eating for comfort (LOL)

hey you should email me and we could keep in touch and see how we're doing. its nice to compare with someone that is similiar in stats to you. i find that my weight loss slows a LOT right before my 'monthly' and just after i lose like 4lbs in a day. cant wait to hear from ya.
