stopped B/P medicine

I went to my doctor today because my B/P has been running 120/70 to 110/80 and I would get light headed at times. I was told I could stop my medication either cold or 3 times a wee****il I got used to not having it. I decided to stop cold. Great timing as I was down to a 2 week supply and would need a new mail order prescription. I was 39 pounds below my last visit in August - 303 to 264. Another benefit of my surgery is my wife now sleeps with me instead of going to the other bedroom when my snoring keeps her awake. So this year is ending on a good note. That's great!! They just did the same thing to me too. My b/p was 90/60 and they were like you have to stop taking that blood pressure med immediately. Woo Hoo! So I know the feeling. Great isn't it. ~Tiffany

GREAT. I too was told to stop taking my b/p meds. I also was taken off my cholestrol and diabetes meds. Sure will save me some cash in 2004. My wife and kids say I don't snore as much as I used to. all kinds of blessings from this surgey.
