I'm so glad to find you!
I had my Lap RNY on Nov 7th and just found you. This place is such a giant maze! Anyway I lost 42 lbs before surgery and only 22 since. Now I know to those who only need to lose like 50 lbs this is amazing, but for the amount of food I eat I feel I should have lost more by now. I know the first month I lost around 22 inches. That was more than the weight I had lost. I'm not really depressed about it .......yet, but at this rate, I will be.
Any suggestions?

Welcome! This site is great and has helped me through the whole process. Have you checked out the main message board? It moves really fast and has lots of information. As for the slow weight loss, it seems like everyone is going thru that right now. I lost 27 lbs the first 2 weeks and at last weigh in I had only lost 3 lbs in one week! But that is still better than I have done before. I think that first weigh in gave me such High expectations that it hurts to see a loss of 5 or 3 lbs!
I am still happy I did this and I know it will take time.
Are you keeping track of your food intake on fitday.com? That helps me a bunch! How about exercise? I try to walk a little and I use this exercise thing (like a bike and a stairmaster mated) I have in my living room IN FRONT OF THE TV! Take care and keep us posted, Kristen
