Pain from water?
Kim, try to drink flavored waters like propel or furit 2 O. They are sugar free. Also Sugar free kool aid and crystal light. THey all count as water intake. I complained about how uncomfortable it was for me to drink water, the nurse told me I was drinking my water too fast i thought she was nuts! But when I started drinking the flavored waters it slowed me down. (I guess the flavor??) Now I am fine with water! Good luck! Kristen

I have the same problem.. and i just went to my doc and he gave me a medicain to take.. and it coats your pouch till it heals.. i was worried becasue it didn't matter what i drank.. but food was okay.. so tell your doc about this, this medicen i am takeing you just take a teaspoon three times a day.. for 2 weeks.. let me know how your doing.. i had an open RNY Nov 10th..
