I'm baaaack!
I'm home now and feeling pretty good! Had to get on the computer and tell you all that I survived! I did lots of walking right away and that is the best.
My roommate and I were a great team! We encouraged eachother to get moving, etc. Well, had to elt you all know I'm home, now I am gonna go lay down for a bit. Talk you you later!

Hi, Kristen! Welcome home!
I made it, too!! I'm three days post-op and feeling good!
Just a short note to say hello to all my AMOS bros and sisters. I also wanted to say thank-u for all the kind words and emails of encouragement, prayers and just good thoughts all around. You guys, and especially my angel, Theresa, have been wonderful!! You have no idea how encouraging it is to receive those emails right there in the hospital...I wonder if we can encourage ALL hospitals to do that??
Will stop back later with more details when I have more energy. Otherwise, feeling good after my first shower home and in my pj's and slippers. Have noted a feeling of 'restlessness' whenever I attempt to do something (read, watch t.v., etc.) but I guess that's normal after all the morphine in the hospital. We filled the prescription for the Tylenol w/codine before we left the hosptial but found, except for a slight headache this morning, that I really don't have any need for it. Yea!
So, Kristen, we can both proudly say, "I'm a loser now!"
