Any suggestions for pre-op test

Hello All, I go for my pre op testing on Friday at 8am. Any suggestions for drinking that stuff??? Thanks, Robin W

I didn't have to drink anything either...

I went this morning for Pre-op Xrays and an ultra-sound. I had to drink some nasty white stuff that tasted like rotten milk with chalk in it. I had to take 3 sips like 4 times and gagged each time I had to do it. There is nothing I can say or do to make it better for you.. sorry

Robin, you need to be more specific on what you are required to drink and what kind of test is it for. I have to do 2 days of clear liquid prior to my surgery date. The first day I take Milk of Magnesia and the second day I have to drink Golytely which is suppose to be pretty vile tasting. With the Golytely they recommend putting the bottle of it in ice (not ice in the Golytely). I plan on drinking it as quickly as I can. Don't really want to do it, but I am focusing on the fact that I have to do it to have the surgery. Mary
