8 more days.......

I have waited so long for this surgery. I can't believe it's almost time. I haven't gotten scared yet, just little nervous. I think it's all the excitement from family and friends. Also, everyone is concerned about my liver disease causing complications so I am constantly questioned about this. Yes, my mortality rate is much higher than other WLS patients but, like everyone else I feel this is whats best for me. I know that God has me craddled in the palm of His hand and nothing will happen to me that He does not allow. Judy

Judy, you are in my prayers. Know everything will go smoothly for you. My surgery date is 11/12 and I can't believe it is only 8 days away. I'm excited too. I had some health issues that caused some concern too, but my doctor run lots of extra tests just to be sure that I would be fine during the surgery. I'm sure your doctor has done the same. They want the best for all of us. Mary
