Wishing you the best for a speedy recovery. Try to stay calm and busy between now and surgery. One bit of advice, drink plenty of fluids the day before surgery so your body will be hydrated. It will make IVs much easier and blood work easier too. (advice given to us from the blood donor center). Mary
Debbie,
I think we're all emotional wrecks to some degree right now. I know I am! My mantra lately has been "Never underestimate the calming powers of a hot bath with bubbles." It works for me anyway. Every time I feel the nerves acting up... or tears coming... I head for the tub. Sometimes I'm in there three times in a day. LOL My husband has been a total angel through this whole thing.
Hang in there girl. I'm going under the knife the day after you.
