surgery date IS COMING !!!!

Oh man my surgery is Monday In Columbia MO with Dr.Pitts. I must say im very nervous and excited . I want this surgery really bad. But i am a big chicken .. I am a big baby when it comes to pain.. Just say a lot of prayers for me guys ok.. Thank you for everything you all do.. Thank you Donna Godman

Donna I wish you the very best! God will be with you on Monday. I pray that you have some peace (praying for some of my own too). I understand your fears. Please know there are others who are right there with you. My surgery is on Tuesday. I am numb. Anyway, keep us posted. Just think by next Thursday/Friday we will start posting that we are "losers" and home safe and sound!!

Donna, lots of prayers for you. Your pain levels will be controlled so don't worry, you will be fine. My surgeon uses a pain pump. They are great. You just push a button any time you need the extra help. When I had my gall bladder out (open procedure), I used the pain pump too. I dislike pain too and this pump is fantastic!!! Remember, if you are in pain, speak up. No one wants you to suffer. Mary

Darling, try to relax. If after surgery you are comfortable you just tell the nurse. There is a ton of pain meds out there and I'm sure they can prevent you from feeling much, if any pain. If your going on the morphine pump (which I believe most surgeons use as pain control method of choice) I wouldn't stress to much. I've had that pump before...its pretty sweet!

Donna... sweetie... The drugs will be wooooooonderful. And like the others said, don't hesitate to tell someone if you're not comfortable. It's not going to be a cakewalk, but we'll make it hon. And if they give you the morphine pump, by all means, press the hell out of that button April
