Just wondering if it blocks all the pain or just dulls it? It wasnt an option when I had babies. and I have never had one. Will so though. But was just wondering.

My surgeon only uses the pain pump, but I have heard many positives about the epedural. Does your surgeon give you a choice? Mary

I know when pregnant, under perfect cir****tances, you shouldn't feel anything with an epidural. When I was pregnant, I had two epidurals, and neither worked due to my blood pressure and being swollen. I don't know how this would work with the surgery. I would imagine that they don't keep you on the epidural for long because I was lead to believe you can't walk when it's in. Good luck April
