i've got a date...but no approval yet???

should i be excited? i'm scared something will go wrong..my date is November 12, 2003 at Highland hospital rochester new york!!! i am very excited but still have to see the nutritional counselor...any tips???? linda lou

Yes, you should be excited!! I'm not quite sure how it works over there in New York cause I'm way over here in Wisconsin but, my approval had to go through first before I could even see the surgeon. Think Positive!! Everything will work out. Seeing the nutritional counselor is quite interesting. You'll be amazed what you'll learn from him or her. I send my thoughts and prayers. Linda, congratulations on your date (same as mine). When I saw the nutritionist it was just to talk to me about the surgery and what to expect afterwards with regards to eating, how important vitamins and protein are. Took maybe 30 to 45 minutes. Hope your approval comes thru quickly for you. Mary
