greenfield filter

I got my surgery date today. I am scared stiff because my surgeon wants to insert a greenfield filter. Has any one done this?

Beverly, go to the "LIBRARY" here on this site. It is at the very top of the screen, on the right hand side. When you click on it, it will take you to the library page. You have a choice to enter a "search" word. Type in GREENFIELD FILTER. I did and it gave me a page full of leads. I planned on cutting and pasting info into here,but there is just so much info about it in the library, that I though it best you go through it and find what helps you most. Take care and don't forget to share your concerns with your surgeon. You don't have to do anything you don't want too, but it may be that the greenfield filter is a good choice for you. Take care!
