My surgery date: Nov. 3rd, 2003

I went to my case management class today. They confirmed my date of Nov. 3, 2003 as my surgery date. First it was RNY-Open. Now it may be RNY-lap.

Me too! You are so lucky you get to go lap! I wanted lap but my insurance did not have any one on their EPO list who did lap. It stinks but the important thing is I got approved! Good luck: Jane

Dottie, Good luck to you! I am having OPEN RNY on 11/4. My surgeon started doing LAP surgery ,but I would have had to resubmit everything to my insurance company and I didn't want to "mess" things up. So, I look at it this way. He does it open, and he can see everything! I will just be a lot more sore!! Oh well, we can't have everything!
