2 weeks till 1 year post op. What size is our pouch suppose to be?

HELLO EVERYONE. I AM 2 WEEKS TILL MY 1 YR HAVING GASTRIC BYPASS SURGERY. I HAD A UPPER GI DONE LAST WEEK,THEY SAID MY STOMACH IS ABOUT.. ABOUT 8 OUNCES NOW. IM SO WORRIED. IS THIS NORMAL? I M SO AFRAID OD GAINING WEIGHT AND NOT BEING ABLE TO GET THE REST OF THE WEIGHT I WANT OFF. I M ABOUT 12 POUNDS TILL MY GOAL FOR MYSELF. THE GOAL THE DOC HAD SET IVE ALREADY MET. IM TRYING TO MEET THE CHART GOAL FOR MY HEIGHT. PLEASE SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME INSIGHT ON THIS SITUATION. IM SO BUMMED RIGHT NOW. ITS A EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER RIDE. THANKS SO MUCH LORI WIREY

I hope this makes you feel better, I can eat a 10 oz t.v dinner, potatoes, corn and steak, then I am full, I think we just have to watch the type calories we eat, like sugars etc, they don't take up room, I think we are normal, read yesterday that out pouch was so little before because we were swollen, and the pouch can not streach that much
