Disruption in line?

I am sorry to post twice in such a short period of time, but it has just been brought to my attention that my slow loss could be related to the "burning" that I have been having in my left shouder, which could be a sign of a line disruption. For the past two months or so I have been having a horid burn in my left shoulder, under the color bone. I didn't associate it with the surgery at first and when I did start to question it I thought maybe it was just heartburn (although there isn't supposed to be acid available is there?) If anyone has any feed back on this please feel free to share. I am seeing the Dr. on the 14th, but if anyone can put me at ease until then I appreciate it!!

Hello Carol, Im not a nurse or anything but i do work in a hospital where the surgery is done and i had mine done on Nov 4,2002. I am in a support group at our hospital and was told in a group meeting that right after surgery if our patients have any dicomfort in thier left shoulder or left side of the chest area that more than likely the do have a leak. im sry to not bring good news but please be careful. if u do have a leak it could be very serios and sometimes deadly. Contact your doc with any problems. Lori in Indiana
