Good for you. Are you scheduled for your DS yet? I hope you don't have to wait long and that the procedure goes smoothly.

That's fantastic Sarah! So glad you checked in here with our one year anniversary coming up. Can you believe it?
I've lost 106 pounds this year, and have been at goal for awhile now. Life is so much better. So is the shopping - but I think my husband would disagree with that ;).

I am 101 lbs down post-surgery, pre surgery weight loss of 51 lbs. So you guessed it.. 152 lbs down. My highest weight I was 519, and now I am between 368-371.
Just wanted to give a shout out to those out there who are my surgery sister's and brothers!! Don't give up....
Hey everyone! I had my surgery on 10/30/12. I'm finally starting to feel good! On my surgery day I weighed in at 197. Since surgery I am down almost 27 pounds.
No need to worry about balancing your meals with fruit and veggies yet. I understand that it can take up to 6 months to get much beyond making your protein goals :). One way to get a few bites is to build them in as a snack - even with a teeny amount of protein.

Hi Everyone! I knew to this site - had my surgery 10/30/12 - Hurricane Sandy! My starting weight was 274 pounds and I was SO surprised @ my 2 week follow up to be down 25 pounds. I've lost a total of 43.5 pounds as of Monday 1/7 (weighed in @ 230.5). is this normal? I am trying to do everything the drs tell me too but honestly I feel like I'm on my own in a lot of ways regarding how much I should be eating at this point. I know to push protein & get enough water, that kind of stuff. but I'm not really to the point of eating "meals" yet because by the time I eat the protein (salmon, chicken, imitation crab meat, scrambled eggs, cottage cheese) I have no room for fruits or vegatables so I dont eat much of those at all. Any advise?
Hello! I'm feeling great, down 50 pounds!
