Prep! Meals & Vitamins
Yes! I ordered:
Iso-100 Dymatize: 106 calories, 24 grams of protein, 1 carb, 0 sugar, per scoop
2 Chocolate and 1 Vanilla ( I meant to order 1 Strawberry and 1 Chocolate, but oh well...) www.bodybuilder.com had a sale when I ordered, but check around, they are on multiple sites. Reviews showed the chocolate and pina colada at the most tasty, but had good reviews on all the flavors. I had already been told by my nephew, who is big into weight lifting, that this was the best powder protein and it tasted great. I haven't opened the vanilla yet, but the chocolate is tasty.
Right now I've been getting 5g of protein & 60 calories at a time by having "ice cream shots". It's my first recipe, but it includes 5 scoops, 3.5 cups of milk, 4 cups of ice, 2 jars of banana baby food. I put it all in a blender and then pour it in little 2 ounce plastic cups, and put them in plastic wear, freeze and voila!
I also ordered Unjury unsweetened (to mix in whatever I'm eating, I've noticed it thins the food out, instead of thickens) and the chicken soup, because as much as I love sweets, I need some "salty" to balance out my day! :-)
As for multi-vitamin, I have always taken pana-C 315. www.panac315.com It's about $60 a bottle, but it's the best there is.
Also, Viactiv plus calcium is a chocolate chew that you can get virtually anywhere. Drug stores and grocery stores, but because of the density, I'm not starting any until my initial 5 weeks are up.
Good luck mamas! Sending skinny thoughts your way!!

I am vegan, so I have been trying/buying vegan protein supplements/meal replacements. I have yet to find a palatable one. Sigh.

I have been stocking up on everything from broth to sf jello and protein shakes from sams club premier protein they come in a case of 12 for 19.00 they have only 4g of carbs and 30g of protein. i havent started any supplements but i am getting mulitvitain gummies from walgreens and the others from walmart. I am only 3 weeks out from having my surgery. i wish you the very best
I have one wee****il surgery. I am using Unjury protein I have every flavor I like the chocolate
splender (good hot) and the chicken soup. The unflavored comes in handy I make banana shakes with sf syrup and I can make beef soup with Wyler's beef granules. I also have Syntrax
Nectar in several flavors my favorite is fuzzy navel--it is my go to shake and starts my day.
I also replaced a meal or two a day before I started my diet so it would not be such a shock to my system and I felt like I was doing something to start the process. Gave me a chance to play
with my food LOL.
