Hi! I had RNY on 10/4 with no major problems too. Congrats on your 28 lbs gone! I am still very tired especially in the morning. I drag myself out for short afternoon walks. I am now at the stage where I have good days (energy) and bad days (zipo energy) which is better than last week. Everything changes so fast! I love this website and the forums! Best of luck to all you Octobers out there.

I am currently 5 days post-op. I am doing well. Just in the stages of getting tired of the same old protein shake and drink. I do not like the sugar free drinks so I just am on water. I found that I am having trouble tolerating cold water though, which makes me sad as I have always LOVED ice water. Is this normal?

Hi Heather!!

I also went in for surgery on the 27th.  I got the lap band!  I agree, this liquid diet is for the birds. Weird though, I seem to like cooking for everybody lately, even though I can't eat anything. lol

Hello, I am so happy to see your post.  I am just getting back on after having surgery on Monday 10/25.  I had a longer than expected surgery do them having to remove my gallbladder as well.  I am home from the hospital since Thursday and just begining to notice feeling better more and more each day.  Congrats on the weight loss thus far, wow 28 pounds is awesome.  What did you start out as, just curious.

These are great insights. I keep saying I am in the learning stage of the process since so much has changed and I am always learning. I am still in the pureed stage until Tuesday and I have been slow going. I have only had one issue with nausea when I tried a bite of scrambled eggs. I have been lucky. I am still doing chewables since I just can imagine this little pouch taking on so many pills per day. I want things to just flow through. I do take the Actigall in capsule form since it tastes so horrible. Thanks for your support. I don't know what I would do without everyone from OH.com!

Good luck tomorrow!!  I just now saw your post or would have written before.  Am also  in Dallas and was sleeved one week ago and while you're undergoing surgery, I'll be getting my drain out.

Wishing you a textbook surgery and speedy recovery!
