My surgery date is October 5th, 2010, too!!! How exciting! My pre-op is set for next Thursday, September 23rd and I started my liquid diet today

Starting my 2 week pre op diet tomorrow!! Will be living on protein shakes, salad and apples until surgery! Hope I can do it!!! LOL

I asked the nutrtitionist for samples of chewable vitamins, iron, calcium, and protein shakes, i have enough to last me 2 wks at least...i also contacted celebrate vitamins and click and asked for samples and got some free in the mail! that's all i have right now, i'm worried though cause i quit my job so we are without my income and it's gonna be tight!

Good evening lap band family after getting rejected three times my wife and I have decided foe me to have the lap band surgery and pay out of pocket. It's a lot of money at least to us but it's an investment the way we look at it. I must say that I am somewha excited and nervous I have never had surgery before. So any words of advice is welcomed. Thanks am glad to be here..
