The day my life will change for the better!!! I cannot believe I have finally got the call I've been waiting for.  I'm really surprised that from reading everyone else's posts that I don't have to do a 1 or 2 week liquid diet.  The day before is what I'm doing, but I think I'll add a couple of more days to that, to really prepare myself.  Move over peeps!!!! Here I come

I am reposting my message because I just found this board tonight.  I am so glad to "meet" others who also have surgeries in October!

I can not believe that I am actually typing this.  I have waited so long for a surgery date and now I can finally announce that I have one!!! I am so excited!! When I realized I could get the money for the surgery last night, I could not sleep.  Now, I have an actual date!!  I already am walking lighter than I have in years- almost floating!
I just cannot believe it!  10/20/2010

I am also on Oct 18th, would love to keep and touch and have a chit chats on how we are doing.
