Hello, I am Oct 25th and started my 14 day liquid diet today! Head hunger~~ but getting through the day hour by hour. What type of pre-op diets are you all on?

Lap Band on 10/14/10

Topic: Lap Band surgery is October 14th!

My lap band surgery is this coming Thursday, 10/14/10 at 7:30 am and I can't wait! I haven't been asked to do a total liquid pre-surgical diet, but since the beginning of September I have been on a pre-op diet involving protein shakes and am over 20 lbs down. I can't wait to get this show on the road on Thursday! Any advice?

wow there are lots of oct dates!! my surgery is gonna be on oct 28 and i am super excited. good luck to all of you in your surgeries. i would love to find some friends to keep in touch with after this so feel free to add me as a friend as well.

Congrats to both of you!! I will be having my surgery on the 28th. Wow on the liquid diet!! My dr will only do surgery with a min of 2 weeks with liquid diet and when he did my moms, it was a whole month. I can kinda see where he is coming from with his rules but it is gonna be HARD. Good luck to both of you!!
