October 12th is my date!

Hi,

I'm at the end of the second week of my three week pre-op liquid diet - so far I have lost 8 lbs.

I am going to have the VSG.  My doctor wants me to lose a total of 15 lbs. by 108 which is my  pre-op appt. with her - everyone please say a prayer for me that I make it!

Will pray for you Melinda. We have the same date although I am doing RNY.

You're half way there. I have confidence you will make it!

Hi Penny and Melinda - I too have the same date, but am doing lap band. I started my liquid diet on Saturday and will be ready for surgery on Tuesday.

Hi Melinda, I was just looking for people who have the same surgery date as me and i saw that you did!  Ive only been on this site for a couple weeks, i didnt know about it before i had surgery and i just think it is great!!  I would love to chat with u some time and see how your progress is going and vice versa.  Thanks!
