Whoo Hooo!!! October 29th

The day my life will change for the better!!! I cannot believe I have finally got the call I've been waiting for.  I'm really surprised that from reading everyone else's posts that I don't have to do a 1 or 2 week liquid diet.  The day before is what I'm doing, but I think I'll add a couple of more days to that, to really prepare myself.  Move over peeps!!!! Here I come

Congrats to both of you!!  I will be having my surgery on the 28th.  Wow on the liquid diet!!  My dr will only do surgery with a min of 2 weeks with liquid diet and when he did my moms, it was a whole month.  I can kinda see where he is coming from with his rules but it is gonna be HARD.  Good luck to both of you!!

 Mine was also the 29th!  Where is Sanger?  I had my surgery at Scripps Mercy in San Diego through Kaiser.  I also had to do "only" one day clear liquids pre surgery, but almost two weeks after.  I see the surgeon tomorrow--hopefully get cleared to mushies.  I can't wait!  Hope you are doing well--

Sanger is about 10 miles east of Fresno. Very near the Mountains...Good luck on the "mushies"  you'll absolutely love'em!!  Today I tried the finely mashed hard boiled egg w/light mayo & mustard and it was great.  No more broth!! lol...
