Good evening lap band family after getting rejected three times my wife and I have decided foe me to have the lap band surgery and pay out of pocket. It's a lot of money at least to us but it's an investment the way we look at it. I must say that I am somewha excited and nervous I have never had surgery before. So any words of advice is welcomed. Thanks am glad to be here..

Good for you! I hope all goes well. Surgery is a piece of cake. You sleep through it! Lol, It's the recovery that might be kind of rough. Just take advantage of the pain meds, and nausea meds if you need them. Good luck...
