My doctor won't let me travel for about a month - I'd be careful - are you traveling by plane or car? Does your doctor know? The problem with traveling is blood clots so I would take alot of breaks and walk around to help keep circulation. Hope you can still go...but I would definitely check with your doc....
I'm having surgery Oct 6th!!! I'm not scared and have a great peace for some reason - I'm sort of excited but still wondering if I'm doing the right thing - I vacillate between knowing and not knowing...its weird. I wish you the best of luck!!!

I'm the day before you - I have such a peace - its weird. Now - I'm finally getting excited. I had to do protein drinks for 7 days and now Ii'm starting the 7 days of Isopure - I thought it would taste worse than it does but it isn't bad - the first few days on the fast are the worse - I think it's actually going to be helpful - it gets you started with some discipline.

Good luck - I'm the next day - the fast is going well - I had to do protein shakes for a 7 days andnow I'm doing 7 days of Isopure - is it the same for you? Any jitters? I'm wondering how soon after surgery I will be up and around and feeling decent?? God bless - we're all in it together.

I got my date - next Tuesday. I'm starting to get excited. I'm still scared but doing well. I'm on day 8of the liquid diet and doing well....I'm wondering when I will feel pretty good after surgery - I'm scheduled to go back to work after 4 weeks - hoping that's enough time to get adjusted but not sure. I don't know how much help I will need after surgery - hope my disabled husband can do it - otherwise I'm shipping off to my mom's for TLC that only mom's can give...Good luck to everyone!!!

I only have to do a protein shake for breakfast and a lean cuisine for lunch and dinner. I started trying to lose about 5 weeks ago and have lost about 23 pounds as of today, so my doctor said I could actually eat a little more. Imagine that! But, I am too paranoid to, lol. I don't want to mess anything up. Good luck to all the October bandsters!
