The more you have to loose the more you are gonna loose quicker. I lost 100 lbs like it wasn't nothing and now I am loosing 1-2 lbs a week???? I don't have much more to loose so it is comming off slower. 50 lbs is a good loss for only 5 months. Congrats on your loss.

I've only lost 50 pounds. It doesn't seem like enough. We're five months in now, right? Does 50 seem right?

okay now that pain is completely subsided!! WOOHOO!! Thank you so much for posting your reply! I'm just glad to know i wasn't totally alone with that! It was so crazy and so very painful! I was scared to death that I'd have to go under again! I'm sooo very glad I didn't have to! I hope you are doing better now too! :)

Surgery Date Oct 6, 2009. Down 60lbs. Started at 231 now 171. WOOHOO!!! Only 30 to get to my goal! I'm 2/3rd of the way there. Wow that's so nice to say that! CONGRATULATIONS everyone!! Good Job!!

Wow! Ya'll are ahead of me. I've lost 65.5#, which works out to 62% of my excess weight. Things seems to have slowed way down recently. I had a sleeve, which may be a little slower than a RNY.
