Thanks Nicole and Kelly! So what have you been doing to pass the time? These past few days have been killing me. I'm so nervous I could puke, but I'm super excited too, I just want to get the surgery part over with. Have you had your pre-op?  I'm not sure what to expect with that but a friend of mine had to postpone her surgery due to her stress test or something like that, I remember she was devestated. I'm just hoping something like that doesn't happen to me but I know I have to make sure everything is okay.  Good Luck and wishing you the BEST!!!

Congrats on your upcoming surgery date. I know what you mean about being nervous, my surgery is 10/13. I haven't told my little guy yet and I'm not sure exactly what to tell him, but I think I'll explain to him that I'm getting my stomach "fixed" so I can be healthier. Good luck and I'll keep you in my thoughts next week.

Congratulations!!!! So happy to hear the news. I know you've been waiting a long time and it's about to be here. Don't be scared you will be fine and everything will go smoothly. I'll be praying for you to have strength and courage.

We have the same new Birthdate, isnt that great!!!!!   I know the liquid diet is going to be really hard.  I am excited but scared of the new beginning.  We are on our way to a new us and world where we dont have to depend on food.  Lord help us!  I have not told me kids yet. They are so against any kind of WLS and thinks a person should be able to do it themselves.  One day they will see it is not easy at all.
