I know what you mean with Kids. My 1st husband passed away i***** so I am my kids only living parent. I believe that is why they would totally freek out if they knew what i was doing. I had total knee replacement last year and you would think i was on my death bed the way they acted. My kids tell me all the time to lose weight and take care of myself bc i am their only parent so they should understand I am doing this for them and myself. Keep in touch and let me know how you are doing.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, I used to like Barbie..didn't have much time as a little girl to play with her though, had to grow up pretty quick. While most children my age were home playing with Barbie, I was at home being a MOTHER to my baby brother =(
My date was scheduled almost a month ago; however, it wasn't until just a few days ago did I publicly announce it.

I had to do a 2 week liquid diet also and the reason they have us do this is to shrink the fatty liver so that it is easier to do the surgery. My dr. uses the Optifast program which is very much like slim fast. I got 5 shakes a day and 1 protein bar...all the water you wanted and up to 2 servings of SF Jello and SF popsicles.
You almost have this whipped! Hang in there and after surgery you wont worry so much about the liquid diet. I am just over 2 months out and am honestly never physically hungry! Good luck to you!
