My surgery went well. I'm so happy that it's over with. I am still hungry though!! Is this normal?? I see my doctor tomorrow for my 1 week post op appt, and I'll definately ask, but come on really??
I'm just trying to get a handle on finding the most protein for the amount of liquid in all those protein drinks.
Topic: October 26 with 4 lbs to lose by the 23rd
Scheduled for LapBand on the 26th with Dr. Ghandi in Rochester, NY. If anyone has any suggestions how I can lose these final few lbs. - I'd appreciate it. They say if I don't lose 5 more (lost one) by the Friday before my surgery (10/23), they will cancel it.

My surgery is on the 14th also - lap band! On day 9 of the pre-op liquid diet and have lost 13 pounds but i'm sooo hungry. But like my doc said, "It's do-able!"

Just to give you a cliche - six days in the grand scheme of things really does not matter.

I had my RNY on 10/7 as well. How are you all doing???
No major issues here. So far so good....have lost approximately 1 lb. per day since surgery.

Good luck. My surgery starts at 7:30am which means I have to be there at 5:30 and I live about an hour and a half away.
