Topic: RE: How much have you lost since surgery????
Congrats Everyone on your weight loss.... Everyone seems to be doing a great job.  Well I am 11 months out of surgery and about 1/2 way through my weight loss I changed my goal to an even 200 because I am almost 6 foot tall.  I reached my goal weight last week.  I am so excited. I have lost 170 lbs in 11 months.  I feel great and except for all of the loose skin look pretty good too.  I can play and run with my toddler daughter.  I can drive my car and wear my seat belt comforable now.  And I can even sit indian style which I love, comfortably without my legs and body hurting.  I am really glad that I made the decision to have this surgery, it has definatley been a life changing experience.

Topic: RE: MIRACLE PROTEIN DRINKS YOU HAVE TO TRY!!!!
I did an online search for a forum because I was having such a hard time with the protein drinks.  I was hoping someone could help.  Thanks for your post.  I will try the chicken soup for sure and check out the others.  Thing is, I don't like milk.  In fact, I am allergic to it, beef, and all beef byproducts.  Does this brand have to mixed with milk?  Meanwhile, I was supposed to drink two 20oz. bottles of Isopure every day.  (I had my surgery five days ago)  I just couldn't do it.  The taste is terrible and the after taste is even worse.  I did find some 3oz. protein drinks that weren't good, but at least less to drink.  So I switched and found that the Berry Punch is the most tolerable. (made by Champion) I am able to get it down within about half an hour, using juice or water to wa**** down.  Be careful not to drink anything too fast, though.

So I am down 162 lbs.  I am feeling great, but I want to stop loosing very soon.  I am only 8 lbs above goal..... How do I stop loosing????

Thanks so much for the info!!  I just ordered the chocolate and the chicken soup.  My VSG surgery is August 24th and I was worried about finding a palatable mix.

THANKS AGAIN!

Awesome totals here!  I had my RNY on 10/28/09 and am down 95lbs.  I have slowed down tremendously, but am not discouraged.  I have so many life changing WOW moments, and feel so much better so it's all good.  I do wish I could say 100lbs down, but the plateau thing is happening to me right now.  Congrats to all!

October 21, 2009 - a new beginning
Heaviest weight:250
Consult Weight: 232
Surgery Weight: 211
Current weight: 140.5

I seem to stall for two weeks, then lose well for two weeks, but the scales keep inching down. I'm wearing size 8 and my thighs have finally started shrinking. I want to lose another 10-15 lb, then will evaluate my goal.
