Hello all can't believe I've made it this far.  One big piece of advice I have is make sure you have a recliner available for recovery.  Very difficult to get in and out of a flat bed so you will have a much easier time recovery wise once you're home if you can ease in and out of a recliner it has made the world of difference for me.  Came home without one and was miserable for 3 days until went out and bought one.  2nd piece of advice is use all the help offered to you.  As the days go by you do feel much better and slowly regain your energy levels and the pain recedes (I am a self confessed pain wimp!) but having folks there to help out in the beginning is essential, you never realize how much you need that thing in your hand, on the table et****il it falls to the floor and you can't bend over to pick it up!  I am happy I have done this for me just want to remind everyone that it is exciting and life changing but it is also a struggle in the beginning just recovering from surgery.

Well, I don't have a recliner...but I have one hulk of a husband. He'll have to help me up and down, LOL!

I go in for my Realize Band this Tuesday. Life changing...most definitely!

I hope you continue to do well with your recovery!!
