OCTOBER 6TH!!!

OMG..ok does anyone have good tips for the PRE-LIQUID DIET?

Sorry I don't have any tips but I wanted to say I'm scheduled for my surgery on the 6th as well.  

Congrads on that MandySue!!!! We need to keep in touch and share our stories..your having RNY and I'm having the lap band..so my weight loss will be slower.

Ok..good luck to you, let me know how the liquid diet goes!! I start on the 22nd of Sept.

Sorry for just getting back to you.  I'm so terrible at checking in.  Congratulations to you too!  I start the one a day liquid on the 29th the go to total liquid Oct 2nd until my surgery!  SO let me know how they are and if you find any you really like since you are starting the liquid first!  Yes we have to keep in touch since our "Birthday's" will be the same!  Well good luck to you.  I know when I'm off I'll finally get to really post my "story" and such.  I can't wait to journal everything that will be going on.  That has helped out a great deal for me to read others that have gone through it.  No one can even begin to understand unless they've been there.  It's nice to hear from you.  Keep me posted.

I'm scheduled for Oct 6th also - lets all keep in touch...how fun - you live close to me - how about that -I'm in Steger -probably about a 35 minutes drive....we could actually visit each other....how fun!!!

Just chimming in to say I too have an October 6th surgery date for RNY.

Yes we all HAVE to keep in touch with each other.  At least you guys are better at posting pictures already!  I haven't posted anything yet!  I will though.  I figure when I'm not working will have some down time I'll finally get to do that.    Well our date is quickly approaching us now!  I can't believe it!  It seems like so long ago when I started this whole things like most people and I can't believe I'm saying it's 11 days away!  WOW!!!  I love that phrase see you all on the loosing side!  I think that is sooo appropriate(ms)!  Have a good weekend!

Me too...me too - let's all keep in touch - day 8 of the liquid diet and doing well.  Its been tough but I'm haning in there.  I'll have more time to post after surgery also...Good luck - we're the same day!!

I had to do protein drinsk for a week and then 1 week of Isopure - it wasn't too bad - just don't plan any activites around food - it makes it harder - I'm being a recluse - staying at home and no****ching the Food Network at all...LOL...makes me hungry watching them prepare food....
