Hello,

I am having my surgery on the same day as you.  My sister had it four years ago and I remember her saying the same things you are saying.  She also was very depressed right after, wondering if she made a mistake.  She has lost around 175 lbs so far and she is the happiest girl in the world.  She is a great listener and is very helpful and passionate with a lot of infomation.  I am sure she would love to talk to you and help you through your tough time at the beginning.  I have heard a lot of people sugar coat it because they have been successful.  My sister has also been successfull however, she also tells people up front the hard parts.  She does this because she doesn't want people to be discouraged, you see noone told her any of the negative things and she felt alone.  If you are interested I can give you her information or you give me yours and she will call you.

Good luck and lets keep in touch with our progress

Hello I too share the same surgery date. I know how you feel I am also nervous but I know that is just a normal thing we humans go through. I am putting my trust in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that he will guide my surgeon and all those who will be over my care and that All will go well with my surgery as well as the new journey I am beginning.  Pray that God will calm your fears and all will be well with you to.
