New here. Surgery date is Oct. 27, 2009

Hello everyone.
   I was so happy to discover this site after a referral from a friend who is on here. I am pre-op and would love all the support I can get. I have been in my hospital's weight loss program since February of this year, and have lost about 25 ponds since. I have between 1 and 5 more pounds to go. I have been put on a partial liquid diet already and in the first week I lost 4 pounds. I am very nervous about the surgery but more excited to finally get my life back. Of course I want to look good but that isn't my main motivator. I want to LIVE. I want to play with my kids. I want to be able to fit in seats without worrying that I won't. There are many more things like this that I look forward to. Thank you all for listening to me. Hope everything goes well for you on your surgery date.

 you will do find i just started on this sight last month and i have learned so much here and you will to. The one thing i keep hearing people say is they will support you and they do so feel free to ask and we will try to be there when you need us.  you are a day behind me i will be thinking about you i will be a little out of it but still thinking ha ha. you go with that 25lb gone i am only at 20 trying to have 30 by my surgery day.  well you have a good day
