Is there anyone with a tentative October date?

Congratulations!  I will be having my surgery on October 28th, here in Boston with Dr. Scott Shikora.  I would love to stay in touch to follow each other's success, struggles...journey.

Hi cindy good luck and much success. My surgery Oct. 21 so lets keep in touch. I won't be excited until i am on the table and they are saying count down from 100. had so many setbacks  was suppose to have it on aug 26  but insurance got in the way.

Hi Patsy--The ultimate surgery will be so worth all the struggles leading up to it...my daughter, a nurse who's living back home now, tells me I am amazingly calm--obviously she isn't, as it'"major surgery" as she tells me.  I reply calmly with and the alternative is living in a body that constantly challenges everything I want to do.  I have spent the past 5 months reading every book published--currently The Real Skinny on Weight Loss Surgery 2nd edition, and am so sure that this is the next step for me. 
I will be thinking about you on the 21st and looking forward to our keeping in touch.
Remember, it's not over until the fat ladt sings....

October 6th, RNY.  Not sure of the time yet, I find out on Sept 21st.

Got mine, its for October 26th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a tentative date for Oct. 1st.  According to the Anthem website I have been approved for that day.  But I havent even been called by my doc office to tell me that I am approved and I am sure the date will be shuffled up or back after they get my paperwork.  Either way I am excited and just glad to know I will definitly be having surgery.

October 5th Lap Sleeve

I am scheduled for Oct 30th for lap Sleeve.  I am already getting excited.  Have waited a long time for this and have crossed off all the hurdles.  I'm self pay, using my flex spend account and have gotten written verification that they will reimburse me after receiving my surgeon's letter of medical necessity.  Have passport, will travel. Finally!
