I just checked the surgery dates post and saw we have the same date, 10/24. We'll have to check back with other to see our progress.

Well, this is my 3rd date, the 1st was Sept 26, got changed to Oct 17, then on the way home, from out of town, the Dr's office called and said they had a cancellation and would I like the 3rd. OF COURSE!!!! Hello to all you other Oct. people. Here's hoping we all do great!!!

Hi Anna, My name is Loretta, and I live in Columbus, Ga. I have a date and it's the same as yours Oct. 07. I will be having my surgery near Atlanta, Ga. in Decatur, Ga. @ Dekalb Medical. My surgeon name is Dr. Scott Steinberg. I am so ecstatic about having this procedure that my anxiety level on a scale of a 1-10 mine is a 10 LOL. I would like for the Oh members that has the same date let's communicate on how we are doing through this life changing process.

My surgery is scheduled for Oct 1st. I am not sure if I can really go through with this. Yes, I want to be thin, and want to be healthy...I think, what the Hell am I doing...allowing them to cut my stomach virtually off...I must be F*ing nuts! I am a nurse and told thr Dr that nurses made the worst patients...he corrected me and stated, "No, Doctors make the worst patients, but nurses come in a close second!"
I have thought of cancelling this surgery, but with all that I have tried, I have never been very sucessful at losing weight, or keeping it off....even when I follow the diet to a "T"
I think it is my metobolism!
I am really trying to find something to focus on, a reason for doing this (and it can't be anyone else...long story)
Any suggestions would be great!
