Topic: Oct 13 Here I Come!
I'm new to OH. Just got the insurance approval today - one week after first consult with Dr. Bertha! Started the pre-surgery Prilosec regimen a few days ago. Surgery is 10/13/08 at St. Peter's in New Brunswick. I'm very excited and looking forward to meeting other bandsters at the support group meetings at Dr. Bertha's office.

I start my shakes tomorrow.......surgery date is October 16. What type of shakes are you guys drinking?

Hello! I am also having surgery with Dr. Alvarez in Mexico on October 24. I will be getting the lap band. I am very nervous, but so ready for change. Hope to see you there.

My date is 10/28/08 as well. I think I am very nervous; especially about the two week optifast diet. And of course the unknown...how will I personally respond to this surgery.

And I am a nervous nellie! I have not been so excited and terrified since the last time I could fit comfortably in the seat of a Roller coaster! O man I can't wait to fit comfortably in a Roller Coaster... this i just realized :)
