Hi Kathleen my name is Ron and I am having lap band on oct 29 also, I live near KC MO but am having surgery in Detroit. Start my pre diet tomorrow. I hope all goes well for both of us. See u on the losers bench.

Tomorrow is the day for me! In my last post I said that I hope I don't get my period right before surgery. Guess what? I got it on Friday--at least it won't be too bad during surgery...

Hello to both of you! I had my cleanse today and I am starving as well. Clear liquids really don't cut it...I am actually really tired! I am already looking forward to the pureed food diet! :-)

Ha! My surgery is tomorrow and I got my period Friday night. I talked to the nurse today and she said that it is not trouble at all--they do it all the time. She also said to expect my periods to be weird for a few months as my body is changing...

You are only a week after me. just remember to walk and sip a lot and you will do great i will make room for you on the loser side. keep us posed when you get out of the hospital.
