Good luck on your upcoming surgery.
I have been on my preop diet since the 6th. I can have 4 oz protein, 4 oz veg, 4 oz fruit, 8 oz skim milk, 1 tbs healthy oil, 73-100 oz sf liquids, and 35-48 oz supplimental protein. This is what I can have for the day nothing else.
I am very excited about my surgery and can not wait.

Hello Sue,
Well I am not having surgery on the 21st however I am on the 22nd! So I am sure we are experiencing alot of the same feelings. Excited, nervous, anxious, etc. Are you doing a certain type of diet now? I am on a diet using smartforme products. I am allowed some "real" food but very limited amounts and kinds. Good luck to you! And I hope we meet again on the loser side.

Hello, I'm new to the message board, but I notice that we are having our surgery on the same day. I'm having the lap band surgery done in Ocala, FL. I hope everything goes well for you and good look to your new life.

Wow! I wish my optifast was that nice! I only get optifast 4 times a day with 1-2 cups of low fat broth per day. 1/2 a day done...hopefully will feel less weak in a few days. Good luck.

Dont you feel bad for one minute! Being hungry is the reason you had a meal not your commitment to weight loss! The pre-op liquid diet is to shrink your liver not test your resolve, no matter what anyone says. WE put ourselves to that test. Harm? Noooooo, not at all! Everyone has the intention to follow the diet and some do.

I got my surgery date yesterday and I am extreamly happy!!! But I am also a little scared. I have so much weight to loose it is almost over whelming. Anyone else have Dr. Brenda Cacacci ??
