Great i am having my surgery on 10-28-08 also its good 2 here someone else on the same day. wow how cool is that.

I got mine the day after my surgery. Thank god I took some tampons with me because they came in handy. I had a catheter in so I couldn't wear pads or undies! I would imagine they would have just taken the cath out sooner if needed but I have to tell you how interesting it was trying to put a tampon in while sore and with the cath in.

Anyone having vsg or any wls on the 20th at Cleveland Clinic?..mines the 20th and Im pretty nervous so was just a thought to have someone to talk with..

Hi Sue! I am also having my surgery on the 21st. I am very excited . The preop
process for me has had alot of hurdles along the way, including my original
bariatric center closing down just as I was about to have surgery. But I hung in there and found a doc I like even better. I am confident that things will go well,along with some bumps along the way, like life in general ! Good luck to

Hi, my name is Dawn and I am scheduled for rny on oct 31 with Dr. Kligman. I went for my pre-op testing and signed the contract. Now all I am waiting on is to see the Doctor one more time before surgery. I see him monday. I so excited, nervous.... not going to the same dr. but would love to share notes.

I'm actually from the November board, but I though some of you may be coming home from surgery and I wanted to read about your experiances.
This was a good question, one I've been thinking about. My cycle is so messed up due to my weight, that I never know when it's coming. I wondered if they'd cancel on me. I'm so glad to know that's not the case.

For you ladies just coming home and those still at the hospital, I wish you a speedy recovery. For those about to go it, I'm still thinking of you.
