Cool are you ready. What time is your surgery? Mine is at 7:00 am have to be there at 5:30, we live an hour away, which means I have to get up at 3:30 am to leave at 4:30. I AM NOT A MORNING PERSON. I might as well stay up. So a big guess are you 26 yrs old Ryan 1982. My daughter was born in 82.

Thanks, it actually isn't so bad today. And, I am not as hungry as the first two days. I will try with skim milk when I get some, I still have 6 left to drink.

Yes, I can have 3 shakes per day (4 if starving) and as much liquid as I can drink (at least 64 oz.). It actually has gotten easier today. I have been really busy and the hunger pangs aren't so vicious today.
Yes, when I was whining I should have been reading my own signature (scripture).

I'm 4 weeks out on Tuesday and have only really gotten my energy back this last week. Pain has been ok, but I just didn't have any "get up and go" (or shopping power!)
Good Luck to you, might want to have a back up plan in case you poop out early!!!

Hi Kathi.
My surgery is this Wed(10-22-08) and I am going through the pre-op diet and it has been a struggle. My doctor requires a two week liquid diet are you on a two week as well? I saw your scripture listed below- very encouraging!

I too am having surgery on the 21st ...only 2 more days!!!! Wanted to wish everyone luck! I am on clear liquids only tomorrow so that should be a challenge! But soon we will all be on the losers bench!

Hey the Adkins Milk Chocolate is not too bad if you add the skim milk to it. Then it tastes like chocolate milk... I thought the same thing when I opened the first one UUUGGGGHHHH

I did not have the RNY, but the VSG. I am 9 days out and I have been out and about. I can honestly say I would never be up for 20 hours of shopping, or 20 hours of anything in a row, but i'm feeling pretty much back to where I have most of my original energy...if that helps.
