Hi, I an new to this site.  I am from Lawton, Ok and will have my surgery on the 29th.  I started pre-op yesterday and am already wondering if I can make it.  My diet consists of protein drink for breakfast and supper and small salad at lunch.  My dr sell the protein supplements and vitamins in his office.  I choose Necter lemon tea and it's not the worst but not very good either.  I paid too much for it not to use it!!!  I hope we are both strong enough to make it through this horrible phase and keep on going.  Good luck.  Joan

I had RNY on Wednesday (10/15) and knew from after having my c-section two years ago with my son that I'd probably have a ton of air. So I bought ahead of time Gas X dissolvable strips, which seem to be working. Sorry if this is TMI, but I didn't let any gas out for three days after my surgery (after my c-section I was breaking wind almost immediately) which I think is one of the reasons I have been in pain. hi all is anyone here from Hill AFB  we are moving there soon and i need to know who tricare does the surgeries through so  i can find a dr to do my follow ups i am currently 10 mo post op so i just need someone to take up where my current dr is leaving off. any help is appriciated.

My surgery is tenatively scheduled for 12:00pm on friday and i would have too be there at 9:30am
but its not set in stone yet so i will find out soon and let everyone know
i am so ready for it but i am too not a morning person so we will see how that goes

Hi Everyone!!!  I am also having surgery on the 21st only 2 more days.   I can't hardly wait.  Just a quick question,  Is coffee a clear liquid?   I'm thinking it is but just want to make sure.  Can't wait to be on the losers side!!!!
