On the pre-op diet, surgery scheduled for Monday the 27th, runny nose, slight cough, no fever--scared to call the doctor for fear of postponing!  Guzzling water.......need to kick this out of me in 24 hours!  Suggestions????

My date is October 31, the Friday after yours.  I am already nervous.  You need to go read some of the older posts then read the same people after surgery.  They were also nervous, then a few days later they are posting that they are home.

Is there anyone framiliar with BCN PPO---I have started looking into WLS several times but this time is do or die and I need advise on how to start and who to see etc....please help I hope someone is framiliar and can help me!!!!

Yes, I think the colonoscopy prep is the worst!! 

At the orientation meeting that my surgeon has for people considering WLS surgery, they showed us film of actual surgeries being done (probably to weed out those who aren't serious about the committment this is going to take).  They showed that there was no fat on the liver (and said that the patients had followed the pre-op portocol).  This is to make it easier for the surgeon to work inside of us and decrease the possiblities of nicking the liver during surgery.  As far as why they do it differently, your guess is as good as mine.
