I posted on the RNY forum...but folks, I ain't kiddin'!  I feel GREAT!  Other than being pretty sleepy today, I have been fabulous.  Some soreness, but nothing I can't handle!  I hope the rest of my journey will go this well!

How about my surgery buddies from Oct 24th?

Hi Rhonda,  That gives me encouragement.  My surgery is tomorrow at 800.  I am glad everything worked out for you.  I love to hear the positives.

I feel really good as well..  Came home yesterday and have been off pain meds ever since. Only hurts some when I get into and out of bed.  Actually drove myself to the bank today.  Whatcha eating?

All clears right now. Chicken broth is really yucky but I got campbells chicken noodle and drained off the noodles and it is much more tolerable.

I came home from hospital on Sunday.  I think I felt better that day than I do today.

Second day home lots of gas and loose stools... now the opposite.... constipation and cramping.

For me the hardest is getting in all this water.  I am sipping constantly, can't seem to make a dent.

I did have a couple tablespoons of low fat vanilla yogurt today.  Man that tasted sooooo good.  Going to try some cream of wheat tonight.  I am hungry!!!  Nut said it was okay to start today some of that today.

My biggest problem is that I am supposed to go back to work tomorrow.  I know that I am not ready.  Dreading the phone call to my boss... she has not been very supportive.

Glad that I am on this side of the surgery though.  I know that things will get better every day!!!

So glad you are doing so well.

I can't do regular water...I add crystal light to mine and I have no trouble getting in 40-60 oz a day.  Today I slept alot and I'm behind but I'll catch up!

I'm sorry you have to go back to work so soon!

I keep my water iced down in that "jug" they gave me at the hospital.  Whereever I am... it is.  By the bed at night so when I wake up in the night I drink.  When I move to the den or kitchen it goes.  Tomorrow I have to venture out to do some work and it will go.
